More vision problems, maybe more age related, but still a concern to add to the diabetic eye problems. Read about what's going on. UPDATE: I started the new year with a great big floater! Not the typical little black shape that moved around in my eye as I looed in different directions. No, this was a big sucker, almost top to bottome in my vision, and wide and raffedy, pretty unnerving. Along with that, I was getting small areas of flickerin! And to add to the fun, occasional flashes. Small and fast, but flashes. This came to a head (yes, my head~) when I had one big flash and realized my vision was down a few notches. Central vision blirred out, everything else needed big enlarging on my screen to try rwading. I am self-diagnosed with a detached retina. Floaters and flashes are precursors, I'm pretty sure I'm right. I'll be contatking my ophthalmologist to schedule expected laser surgery to nail the retina back onto the eye wall. Nobody reads this, so why amd I adding this? My diary of the events to come. Then there's a fair chance I will end thus experiment and remove it from view. Nobody will miss it. I give it two months more, maybe.
