I just found my notes from five years ago when I was new to this whole deal. Aside from seeing just how little real info I was given (how to figure out the calories in a serving? Like reading the labels tells me! Thanks, I know how to do that.) I was interested in seeing the list of meds I needed to take. One in particular was to lower my blood pressure. And in the info on medicines and side effects I now read it should not be used with another of the meds I was issued, and have been taking for almost five years.
Fast forward to now: I have been eating beets for several months now, my blood presure has dropped significantly and stays at great numbers day after day. See the irony here? Beets (nitric oxide) provide better results than the meds I take.
