A social worker came to check on what my vision was like. Not an eye chart, rather "test" to find out if I could see the buttons on my stove, microwave, and printer! She put a chunk of orange tape above the critical buttons and I confess, it helps. My printer is, like way too many things, so damn elegant in suave design that everything is black until you touch it, then things light up. But first you have to touch the right spot. Tape helps.
The keyboard I was using is another super elegant design. The letters may be standard but the type style was thin stroke and gray. To me? Nearly invisible. There are large lettered keyboards on Amazon. Some are pretty cheap, I didn't take a chance and spent a little more. So far so good. I still make typos but I do okay. BIG letters = good.
